Diana Hamilton is now the most recognizable Ghanaian gospel in African music worldwide. Diana is an incredibly gifted Holy Spirit-filled songstress who constantly works on her relationship with the Lord. I am sure you are very curious to know more about Diana Hamilton.
Diana Antwi Hamilton popularly known by her stage name Diana Hamilton was born in December 1978. She was born to Apostle Felix Antwi and Mrs. Comfort Antwi a former Executive Council Member of the Church of Pentecost. Diana attended Morning Star School, Cantonments in Accra for her basic education and Ghana National College, Cape Coast for her secondary education. She continued to study and practice nursing at Komfo Anokye Nursing College.
Diana Hamilton’s music ministry started at a very tender age where she was a backing vocalist for Francis Agyei. Her debut album titled “Ɔsoro bɛkasa” was released in 2007 which got a lot of people’s attention and brought her into the limelight.
She has won several awards including the National Gospel Music Awards in 2022, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2021 (Gospel Artiste of The Year & Artiste of The Year), African Gospel Music & Media Awards in 2018 (Best Song & Community Award), Wise Women Awards, UK 2017, Ghana Music Awards Europe 2012 and more.
